At RuqyahPath, we understand that our users often share deeply personal and sensitive information. We take privacy extremely seriously and collect only what is necessary to provide the Service.

- Account information: Email address, name (optional), password
- Q&A questions: Anonymous questions are not linked to your identity
- Journal entries: Stored locally on your device by default
- Community posts: Posted under your chosen display name
- Session bookings: Name, email and communication preferences

- Browser type and device information
- Pages visited and features used (via Google Analytics)
- Country of access (for community board flags)
Anonymous Q&A
Free Q&A questions require no account and are not linked to any identity. We do not store the content of anonymous questions beyond what is necessary to generate a response.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the Service
- To process payments via Paddle (we never store card details)
- To send service-related emails (account, billing, support)
- To respond to support requests
- To improve AI responses (anonymised, aggregated only)
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Paddle: Payment processing only
- Firebase (Google): Authentication and database
- Anthropic: AI Q&A processing (no personal identifying data sent)
- Resend: Email delivery only
Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@ruqyahpath.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

RuqyahPath (operated by Mohsin Attari) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact: support@ruqyahpath.com
Third Party Services
We use the following third-party services which may process your data:
- Firebase (Google) — authentication and database. Google Privacy Policy applies.
- Google Analytics 4 — website analytics (only with your consent).
- Anthropic — AI responses to your questions (anonymised, not linked to your identity).
- Resend — email delivery for booking confirmations.
- Paddle — payment processing (when payments go live). PCI-DSS compliant.
Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Community posts are retained until deleted by you or removed by our moderation team. AI interaction logs (Q&A, diagnosis, dream logs) are retained for 12 months then automatically deleted. You may request deletion at any time.
Your Rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, UK or other applicable jurisdictions, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of your personal data
- Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erasure — request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restriction — request we limit how we process your data
- Portability — receive your data in a portable format
- Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Withdraw consent — withdraw consent for analytics at any time via the cookie banner

Age Restriction
RuqyahPath is intended for users aged 13 and over. Users under 18 should use the platform with parental guidance. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

We use the following cookies and similar technologies:
- Essential — Firebase authentication cookies (required for login). Cannot be declined.
- Functional — localStorage for your healing plan, journal and preferences. No personal data sent to third parties.
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4 (only with your consent via our cookie banner). You may decline at any time.
